Stretch your creativity by learning how to use a professional camera and concepts key to the art of photography under the direction of
professional photographer Tiffany Velasquez Walker.
Learn from working professionals in varies fields (photojournalism, commercial, portrait photography). Field trip(s), art reception at conclusion. This is a working, educational camp with a portfolio expected at the conclusion.

The City of Marina Recreation & Cultural Services Department will host basketball open gym for high school and adult players daily 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Los Arboles Middle School gym, starting Monday June 10, 2019.

June 17, 2019, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Marina Skate Park
The Skate Camp will provide instruction in basic skills, safety, balance, etiquette and techniques. Field trips to other local skate parks will be included each week during the duration of the camp.
The City of recreation and local advanced skateboarders will facilitate the skate camp. Please have your child provide his/her own safety equipment such as helmet and knee pads. Camp will be scheduled for 2 sessions. The first session will run June 17-21. All sessions will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Wednesday and Friday. On Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, must bring a sack lunch on Thursday.

City of Marina Recreation & Cultural Services Department, in partnership with the Friends of the Marina Library, presents Wildlife Animal Programs. Shows start at 2 p.m. at the Marina Youth Center, 211 Hillcrest Events include: June 17 “Wild Americas;” June 24 “Bay Area Wild;” July 2 “Creepy Critters;” July 16 “Wild Neighbors;” and July 23 “Rain Forest.

League Runs June 17th thru July 18th, 2019
The Summer Dodgeball League is open for all area boys & girls ages 6 thru 11. Smart Start clinics will be held the first week of play, ages 6 thru 8 on Tuesday, June 11th at 4:00 p.m. and ages 9 thru 11 on Thursday, June 13th at 4:00 p.m., followed by five weeks of League Play. Games will be played on Mondays & Wednesdays for children ages 6 thru 8 and Tuesdays & Thursdays for children ages 9 thru 11. Game times are 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. A Championship Tournament & Pizza Party will be held at the end of league play! Player entry form can be downloaded by clicking the link below, and at the Recreation Department. Forms must be turned in no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 1; any late entries will be put on a waiting list.
