    When: June 17-21, 2019 Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Ages: 12 yrs thru 18yrs old of age Stretch your creativity by learning how to use a professional camera and concepts key to the art of photography under the direction of professional photographer Tiffany Velasquez Walker. Learn from working professionals in varies fields (photojournalism, commercial, portrait photography). Field trip(s), art reception at conclusion. This is a working, educational camp with a portfolio expected at the conclusion. Limited spaces available, register at the Marina Library.   2. Daily Basketball Open Gym

    The City of Marina Recreation & Cultural Services Department will host basketball open gym for high school and adult players daily 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Los Arboles Middle School gym, starting Monday June 10, 2019.   3. Summer Skate Camp Session 1

    June 18, 2019, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Marina Skate Park

    The Skate Camp will provide instruction in basic skills, safety, balance, etiquette and techniques. Field trips to other local skate parks will be included each week during the duration of the camp. The City of recreation and local advanced skateboarders will facilitate the skate camp. Please have your child provide his/her own safety equipment such as helmet and knee pads. Camp will be scheduled for 2 sessions. The first session will run June 17-21. All sessions will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Wednesday and Friday. On Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, must bring a sack lunch on Thursday.
