SUBJECT: Marina Police Department Release Photograph of Person of Interest in Attempted
Kidnapping Investigation
RE: Attempted Kidnapping of Woman Walking on Reservation Road on September
23, 2009

The Marina Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the male subject
depicted in surveillance video obtained from a business nearby the site of last week’s attempted
kidnapping. He was determined to have been in direct contact with the female victim after she reported
a male subject attempted to kidnap her in the area of Reservation Road and Seaside Court.
Investigators wish to speak with this man to determine if he knows the kidnapper and what he might
have witnessed. The subject is described as an African male adult, approximately 25 years old,
approximately 509’-600’/180 lbs., muscular, with a dark blue sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans and white
tennis shoes.
