The Monterey County Environmental Health Bureau announces that information is available through the Monterey County Health Department website to guide businesses in their planning efforts to reopen for dine-in services in Monterey County while we await approval from the State of California. Links to resources, and protocols in line with the State of California’s reopening guidelines are available by visiting www.mtyhd.org/Covid-19. Through this website, the public will find links to guide a restaurant business in reopening while still following the key preventive practices per the guidance:
“In this unprecedented time, it is important we all work together; the restaurant industry, the customers and your local government, for public health; for the entire county to participate in keeping us moving forward, together.” stated Ric Encarnacion, Monterey County Environmental Health Assistant Bureau Chief.
Monterey County is preparing for Stage 2 reopening pending approval of the Attestation submitted as part of the State’s plan to reopen with precautions and ensuring the health and protection of the public against the spread of COVID-19.
