Halloween Drive Through
Marina Equestrian Association, in partnership with Marina Recreation and Cultural Services will hold a Halloween Drive Through Oct. 23 from 6 to 9 pm at the Marina Equestrian Center, corner of California Ave. & 9th St.
The event is Covid Compliant.

Marina Fall Festival
Marina Equestrian Association will present a Fall Festival from 11 to 2 pm on Oct. 23 at the Marina Equestrian Center, corner of California Ave. & 9th St.
Wagon Rides, Ponies, Pumpkins, Petting Zoo and Goodie Bags are featured at this Covid Compliant Event. The Festival is presented in partnership with Marina Recreation and Cultural Services.
Boys & Girls Club of Monterey County will hold Spook Dance Party, a virtual family event, on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 5 pm with Monterey Peninsula Ballet Theater. To attend, please RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Movie's in the Park at Dimaggio Oct 30
Bring costumes, lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. Movie will start promptly at 8 pm. This event will be Covid Compliant.
Bayboi Fitness Halloween Jam
Learn a fun, easy Thriller Dance at the 90-minute Halloween Jam taught by Personal Training Bayboi Fitness Coach Oct. 30 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at Preston Park, 3100 Preston Drive. The event is free.
Halloween Carnage Skate Jam
The City of Marina and P.A.L. Presents Halloween Carnage Skate Jam Oct. 31 from 6 to 10 pm at the Marina Skate Park. Prizes will be given for the best costume, raffles and more. Entry is $10. The event is open to all age groups.

Trunk or Treat (Lots of Free Candy)
Compass Church Marina will host Trunk or Treat at their facility on Crescent Avenue Oct. 31 from 5 to 6:30 pm. Free Refreshments, cake walk, bounce house and Trunk or Treat (lots of Free Candy) will be featured. The Church is located at 3131 Crescent Ave, Marina.
Marina Youth Halloween Fun & Safe Party
The City of Marina will hold its Annual Marina Youth Halloween Fun & Safe Party Oct. 31 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Rocky Han Community Center, 211 Hillcrest Ave., Marina, CA. Sponsors of the event are Marina Rotary, Marina Grand Dollar Store, Marina Kiwanis, Marina Grocery Outlet and Marina High School Key Club.
Marina Teen Center Halloween Events
A night of activities for Marina Junior High and High School students will be held at Los Arboles Upper Field under the Lights on Halloween Night, Oct. 31, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.
Events include a 30-foot rock climbing wall, bungee numbers, 25-foot joust, vortex, tug-n-dunk, QB blitz, Jacobs ladder, shooting stars, free food and music by DJ Dave.
The activity is Covid Compliant.

BECOME A RECREATIONAL INSTRUCTOR
The Recreational Instructor is responsible for on-site management of a recreation center facility, implements programs and activities by conducting, guiding and training program participants, registers participants for classes, prepares and distributes flyers, pamphlets and other general promotional material, prepares monthly activity calendars and reports as required, performs duties in accordance with City and Departmental policies and performs other related work as required.

Marina Parks Status Updates
Parks within the City of Marina (except for the skate park and tennis/pickleball courts) are remaining open. However, restroom facilities, picnic areas, and playgrounds are closed.
